Police Crackdown on Drunk Driving for Holidays

Warner Robins Police will have extra patrols throughout this week and into the weekend to help keep people from drinking and driving.

Police tell 41 NBC they will be looking for drivers who are swerving, stopping and starting suddenly, as well as responding to noise complaints.

Even with this crackdown, police say they are not doing this to curb people from having a good time. They are encouraging people to be safe by having a designated driver if you are going to be drinking.

The extra forces and patrols will not only come from the Police Department, but also from the County Sheriff’s office.
