ATHENS, GA – A federal bankruptcy judge has ordered former University of Georgia coach Jim Donnan to turn over income tax returns and other records in a bankruptcy case unfolding in Ohio.
The judge has granted GLC Limited’s request to require Donnan and his wife Mary to turn over the records, along with any contracts between the Donnans and the company.
Donnan’s attorney had said before the judge’s order he would honor GLC’s request. He told the Athens Banner-Herald on Tuesday “I just plan to fully cooperate and work with all involved so some kind of resolution can be reached as quickly as possible.”
GLC is the parent company of a chain of liquidation stores. It filed for bankruptcy in Ohio in late February, saying it owed between $26 million and $29 million.
