FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office along with the Forsyth Police Department is hosting a safe driving camp for teen’s this summer.
The camp designed for kids ages 15 to 17, teaches the dangers of impaired driving and techniques for skid recovery, using simulators like beer goggles and a rollover simulator.
This year’s camp will be held on Saturday, August 10th from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. It’s $10 to register. The cost includes lunch, a t-shirt, and a gift bag.
