GC golf “Meet the Bobcats” night rescheduled


MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) The Georgia College golf team will still be participating in “Meet the Bobcats” night at Zaxby’s, but the date has been changed due to scheduling conflicts. Originally scheduled for this Wednesday, the event is now slated to take place Monday April 21 from 5-8 p.m.

In addition to being the hosts of “Meet the Bobcats” night at Zaxby’s, the team will be on-location to take part in the Bobcat sports radio show, “The Prowl”, which airs on 1450ESPN. Head coach Jimmy Wilson will be interviewed live on the show, among others. The team will hang out to sign posters for fans in attendance.

The Zaxby’s in question is on North Columbia Street, north of Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. During the occasion, Zaxby’s is committed to donating 10 percent of all sales toward sponsoring the GC sports program. Furthermore, as a special offer, kids meals will be free with the purchase of any adult meal.

Tucker grew up near Auburn, before moving to north Alabama. He graduated from Danville High School in 2007 and loves to return to the Tennessee Valley any chance he gets. He moved back south to Troy, Alabama after high school, where he graduated from Troy University in 2011 with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. He interned in Huntsville at WAAY-TV before joining 41NBC. His passion is sports, and his favorite teams are the Auburn Tigers and Troy Trojans. On the weekends you can catch Tucker watching college football on Saturdays and NASCAR on Sundays!
