Peach County’s Perry signs with LaGrange

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Peach County’s Grant Perry will play baseball at LaGrange College.

The senior catcher signed with the Panthers at Peach County High School Friday.

"Planning to play catcher, might play a little outfield up there," Perry says.  "Just like the coaches.  Seemed like the right fit."

This season, he’s batting .390 including a .444 mark in region play.  He’s hit one homer and has 25 RBI.  Over the last two seasons, he’s thrown out more than half of base runners attempting to steal.

He plans to major in engineering.
