MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – #Macon30 campaign organizer, Danny Glover says after 30 days and counting the group reached it’s goal.

The social media campaign aimed to achieve zero murders in Macon for an entire month from June 4 until July 4.

Glover says he hopes the community sees the campaign as a start to peace movement in the neighborhoods where crime is at an all time high.

"Peace is a process and we have to continue to follow that process. We have to continue to add value to that process and get the message of that process out," says Glover.
