MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place at the BP gas station located at 4739 Houston Road in south Macon.

According to a news release, four men entered the store around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

The four suspects played video machines for about a hour before deciding to rob the store. One of the suspects showed a gun in his pocket and the other three suspects took the cash register, lottery tickets, the clerk’s cell phone and wallet.

The suspects fled south on Houston Road in a light colored SUV.

Three of the suspects are approximately 18 to 20 years of age, wearing gray t-shirts, blue jeans and baseball caps. The suspect with handgun looks between 30 to 40 years old, muscular with tattoos on both arms , wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
