"We don’t really measure success by wins and losses as coaches," Coach Morgan said about his first season at Tattnall. "I was very pleased with the way the players responded to me and to the system."
The school will have seven players returning on offense, but they’ll have to replace their starting quarterback. Coach Morgan isn’t worried. He says two prime candidates are battling for the role, including defensive star Kell Jarriel.
The defense will also have seven players returning. Morgan believes such experience will help as his team goes up against different opponents in their new division. "We have a great nucleus coming back… it’s the perfect timing for us [moving into the GHSA]."
Tattnall’s first game will be August 29 against Georgia Military College.
