MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Steaming hot steak, tasty burritos and sizzling fajitas.

Yeah, you guessed it–we’re eating Mexican for this Restaurant Report Card.

With 100 on its health inspection, Acapulco on Hartley Bridge Road in Macon has certainly been making the grade.

"If they had a thousand we would have to go for it," said Manager Mario Barragan.

Barragan aims for perfection at his restaurant.

"What’s the purpose of doing things if you’re not trying to do the best you can?" said Barragan.

Employees have been trying and succeeding–not just with staying clean, but with cooking some killer Mexican food.

"It’s something that I grew up in Mexico eating a lot," said Barragan.

He bragged on the Tamales–a Mexican specialty.

"I’m telling you they’re just awesome," said Barragan. "They are awesome."
