Suspected burglar arrested, deputies search for accomplice

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was caught with a brick in his hand and Bibb County deputies believe he used it to break glass to get inside a pawn shop. Now, deputies are searching for his accomplice.

Antonio Booker, 18, was apprehended, Saturday around 4 a.m., at Vann’s Pawn Mart, located at 3771 Mercer University in Macon.

Booker is charged with attempted commercial burglary.

"When Deputy Abushanab arrived he found Booker and another unidentified suspect, who ran from the scene, at the front of the business," according to a Bibb County Sheriff office release. "Deputy Abushanab noticed that the glass of the business showed signs that it had been struck several times."

Booker was taken to the Bibb County Jail.
