Georgia to face Louisville in Belk Bowl

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (41NBC/WMGT) – Louisville defensive coordinator Todd Grantham will coach against his former team in the postseason.

The 21st-ranked Cardinals accepted an invitation Sunday to the Belk Bowl, where they’ll face No. 13 Georgia.  It’s the first time the Bulldogs will play in the game and also the first time they’ll play against Louisville.

This will be Georgia’s 50th bowl appearance–sixth most of any team in the country. Its all-time bowl record is 27-19-3.

Kickoff is Tuesday, December 30 at 6:30 p.m.
