The event featured a live DJ, food and a silent auction.
All of the money collected goes toward small business loans.
"We are doing this event to help grow small businesses in the city," Mayor John Howard said. "Our city has so much to offer and any kind of support to our economy is always welcomed."
Money collected during the ball will be used for small business loans.
Mayor Howard stressed how important it is to continue building Forsyth’s local economy.
The silent auction had an African safari trip, tickets to events and personal services such as spa treatment.
"We plan to have this ball every year and use it to grow our city," Howard said.
