Macon hosting GHSA wrestling championships January 15-17

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Eighty high school wrestling teams are expected at the 2015 Georgia High School Association (GHSA) 2015 Team Dual Wrestling Championships January 15-17.

The event, held at the Macon Centreplex, starts Thursday at 11:15 a.m. and finishes with the finals Saturday at 3 p.m.

The teams haven’t qualified yet, but a GHSA release says as many as 1,300 wrestlers are expected to compete.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are $7 on Thursday, $10 each for Friday and Saturday and $24 for a three-day pass.
