Ragan replaces Busch, who broke his right leg and left foot in a crash in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Daytona. Busch was taken to a Florida hospital and was transferred to Charlotte Tuesday for further treatment.
Ragan will be allowed to return to his No. 34 car, which he drives for Front Row Motorsports, when Busch returns. Joe Nemechek will fill-in for Ragan at FRM.
