After more than 85 years under private ownership, company officials thought it was time for a change. The President and CEO of Blue Bird, Phil Horlock, admits this change comes with a lot of responsibility, but he’s ready to take it on.
"We have to obviously prepare ourselves for all the questions that will come from investors on the street. We’re ready for that. We’ve done it before. We tell a story every quarter and I like that idea because we have a great story, we have a great product at Blue Bird," said Horlock.
Horlock adds after the company’s first day in the stock market, it is already up 6%.
