GICAA Division III Tourney tips off Friday in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  A two-day tournament featuring several middle Georgia students starts Friday.

The Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association will host its Division III tournament at the Hephzibah Ministries gymnasium, located at 6601 Zebulon Road.

Central Georgia Arts and Athletics, which is designed to give extra-curricular opportunities to students who are educated in non-traditional ways, will field both a varsity boys and girls team in the tournament.

Games begin at 12:15 p.m on Friday with the final game tipping off at 5:15. On Saturday, games start at noon with the girls championship set for 4:30 p.m. and the boys championship at 6 p.m.
