Houston County soccer beats Greenbrier for region title

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County boys soccer team beat Greenbrier 9-8 Wednesday to claim the Region 2-AAAAA championship.

The game went into penalty kicks after neither team was able to break a 3-all tie.  Declan Furlough’s save sealed the win for the Bears, who will open the playoffs as the Region 2’s No. 1 seed on Wednesday, April 29.
