Little League needs volunteers for Warner Robins tournaments

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Little League needs volunteers for its annual baseball and softball regional tournaments.

The softball regional is July 30-August 3 and the baseball regional is August 7-August 13. All games are played at Little League Southeast Park, located on Snellgrove Drive.

Volunteers are needed in several areas, including the concession stand, facilities and grounds, game operations, gift shop, parking, and team meals. People may assist in more than one area.

If you’re interested, visit LittleLeague.org/South or visit the regional office at 439 Snellgrove Drive.

You’ll also be asked to submit your driver’s license and will need to go through a background check.

The region office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Tucker grew up near Auburn, before moving to north Alabama. He graduated from Danville High School in 2007 and loves to return to the Tennessee Valley any chance he gets. He moved back south to Troy, Alabama after high school, where he graduated from Troy University in 2011 with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. He interned in Huntsville at WAAY-TV before joining 41NBC.
