Peach County concentrating on what’s ahead after disappointing end to 2014

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Now entering his 9th season as head coach of the Peach County Trojans, Chad Campbell has finally allowed the sting of a disappointing playoff loss in 2014 to wear off. With a new season set to get underway, the Trojans are wanting to make sure their 2015 ends the same way as their state title year of 2009.

Last year, Peach County averaged 38.4 points-per-game, and are hoping to repeat those lofty numbers again on the back of their quarterback Tyrique McGhee.

A powerhouse on offense, the Trojans were also stingy on defense, limiting opponents to less than 8 points-per-game. They held the other teams to less than 10 points seven times, and no one put up more than 17 points on their scoreboard. Coach Campbell feels he has the talent on his squad to be just as good, if not better, in 2015.
