Gordon crashes in final race at Indy

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (41NBC/WMGT) – Jeff Gordon was involved in a lap 50 crash in his final Brickyard 400.

Soon after a restart, Clint Bowyer spun out after making contact with another car. Gordon had nowhere to go, bumping into teammate Kasey Kahne’s car before making hard contact with the outside wall. Both the front and back ends of the No. 24 Chevrolet suffered major damage.

The Indiana native and five-time Brickyard winner returned to the track after repairs.
