Investigators returned to the crime scene at 181 Sand Creek Trail Wednesday afternoon to search the property.  James Scherer has lived on the street for more than 12 years and says the homicide investigation is disturbing.

"We got people at night, even in the dark walking the street, getting a little exercise," says Scherer.  "Couples, kids playing out here getting on their bike. We just don’t have things like that happen out here."

George Bell also lives on Sand Creek Trail he says he heard the police sirens Tuesday night, but had no idea what happened.

"I can’t understand it," adds Bell.  "We don’t ever have anything like that happen on this street that I know of.  "Somebody get run over a few doors down the road is strange."
