Woman shot outside Macon restaurant

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman is in stable condition at the hospital after being shot and robbed Sunday night in a restaurant parking lot.

It happened just before 9 o’clock outside Ole Times Country Buffet on Gray Highway.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, two men approached 64-year-old Darlene Conyer of Gray, assaulted her and took her work apron, which included cash. Conyer, an employee at Ole Times, was shot once in the abdomen.

The men were seen running down Gray Highway toward Shurling Drive. Conyer was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health.

The suspects are around six feet tall with medium builds. They were wearing masks and dark-colored clothes.
