MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County Sheriff’s Corrections deputy was arrested along with 4 others after a search warrant was served at a Macon hotel.
According to a news release, 27-year-old Andrea Bowman had been spotted on multiple occasions going to a room at the Bridgeview Inn and Suites on Harrison Road, where drugs were suspected of being sold.
The Bibb County SWAT Team and Sheriff’s Office served the warrant around 1:30 p.m., Thursday.
Bowman was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and violation of oath.
Internal Affairs has also conducted an investigation.
Additional arrest during search warrant:
Maurice Jones, 20-years-old – Charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Trevonte Harbin, 17-years-old – Charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Shereace Bunn, 24-years-old – Charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Rodeco Jones, 34-years-old – Charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, participation in criminal street gang activity and a failure to appear warrant from Byron PD.
