MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – April is National Autism Awareness month and one Central Georgia hospital wants parents to know it’s here to help.
Mercer University partnered with the Medical Center, Navicent Health to host Saturday’s “Autism Spring Symposium.”
“He wants to focus on diagnosing children as soon as possible” said Tripp Ritchie from Navicent Health.
“Our goal is to create an environment where children can be diagnosed as early as possible and receive intensive treatment so they can reach their full potential in life.”
Tripp hopes to make this an annual event.
