MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Arts Alliance wrapped up the Fired Works event at Central City Park this weekend.
The Regional Ceramics Exhibit showcased pottery from more than 60 different artists.
More than 6,000 pieces were part of the 11th annual event.
There were pottery workshops for kids and adults so they could learn more about the craft.
”We’re here on behalf of [the] Macon Arts Alliance’s fundraising event that we have when we represent 60 artists from around the southeast to come and sell their pottery,” said Director of Programs for the Macon Arts Alliance, Stephanie Fritz.
The organization wanted to highlight The Ocmulgee National Monument with this year’s Fired Works Exhibit.
