UPDATE: Man arrested in Macon apartment complex shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for shooting a killing another man Tuesday morning.

29-year-old Frederick Johnson turned himself in Tuesday.

He’s charged with murder, criminal trespass and simple battery family violence.

He also violated his probation.

According to a spokeswoman with the sheriff’s office, 34-year-old Tyrell Jordan was visiting a woman at the Sandy Springs Apartments just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.



The woman left to go to the store, and when she came back she found Jordan with multiple gunshot wounds to his shoulder and torso.

Jordan was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health where he died at about 8:20 a.m. from his injuries.

No one else was injured.
