MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tonia Wilkes, like many of us, experienced hardship and tragedy that caused her a great deal of pain and depression.

She wrote a book, called “Renewing Your Hope,”  about losing her 13-year-old daughter to cancer.

According to the description, it is a story of hope and disappointments, but at the end Wilkes never gave up.
