Warner Robins man found dead outside local motel


WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was found dead outside the Budget Inn Motel on Watson Boulevard with at least one gunshot wound.

The Warner Robins Police Department says the victim is 34-year-old Donell Nathaniel Hawkins.

Investigators are treating this case as a homicide.

Police officers said the 911 call came in around 10:59 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hawkins was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said Hawkins is known to Warner Robins law enforcement.

This is an ongoing investigation.
