WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The crash came early Sunday morning.

“Violation–this is a family business,” said Oakridge Custom Finishing owner Gary Hadley.

Thieves busted into Oakridge Custom Finishing using their SUV as a battering ram.

“It hurts, it hurts a lot. You see four people that make their living by stealing from a group of people who work really hard to make an honest living,” said Hadley.

They stole multiple handguns, and Hadley says he thinks they caused around 20,000 dollars worth of damage to the building.

“The financial and mental burden that goes along with that is tremendous,” said Hadley.

You can see the men hop out of their car and creep into the store.

“They may have had gloves on and masks on, but it didn’t cover up everything,” said Hadley.

The surveillance video shows multiple angles.

“We had been surveilled a week before, our cameras were able to tell that and so we were prepared,” said Hadley. “We were monitoring, we’ve been staying here overnight and unfortunately we left about an hour before they broke in.”

“They knew what they were going after, they knew what they were going to do,” said Hadley. “They were a little slow on a couple of things, but they accomplished their task.”

Hadley feels fortunate he had insurance, and his advice to other businesses is helpful.

“Do what you can do, protect yourself as good as you can with whatever security system you can put in,” said Hadley.

The thieves may have damaged the store, but they won’t damage this business owner’s will to succeed.

“Transferring the firearm to them, whether it’s working on that firearm whether it’s doing some repair work for the firearm whatever it is they trust us to do that,” said Hadley. “Whether they have the last name Hadley or not, everyone that works here is family.”
