MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Water has been restored to about 200 customers who didn’t have water in East Macon.
According to a news release from the Macon Water Authority, even though water is restored, the boil water advisory still remains in affect for customers who live on Jeffersonville, Emery, and Irwinton Road. Also, people who live near Ocmulgee East Boulevard, should continue to boil their water.
MWA is in the process of testing the water, so until results say the water is good, you need to boil your water for at least three minutes prior to drinking and cooking.

The Boil Water Advisory continues for: South of Highway 129 and Joy Cliff Road, North of Highway 80 and Jeffersonville Road, and South of Riggins Mills Road and North of I-16.
