BREAKING: GBI investigating officer involved shooting in Jasper County


JASPER COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – GBI special agents are investigating an officer involved shooting in Jasper County at the request of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

GBI has confirmed that one male subject is deceased. Neither of the officers were physically harmed during the incident.

GBI Spokesperson Nelly Miles tweeted just after 2:00 PM that GBI investigators were ‘en route’ to the scene.
