Two men injured in shooting outside Macon nightclub


MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the arm outside of Club Sparks on Mercer University Dr.

Just after 1:30 a.m. Monday, reports say that 27-year-old Tyree Singletary was breaking up a fight between two men, when one of the men pulled out a pistol and shot Singletary in the arm.

Later, 25-year-old Jerome Beasley came to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his left side. Reports say that Beasley was one of the men in the fight, and shot Singletary and himself during the altercation.

Both men are listed in stable condition at Navicent Health Hospital.

Beasley is charged with aggravated assault, and will be taken to the Bibb County Jail once he is released from the hospital.
