Middle Georgia hospitals receiving patients due to Hurricane Florence

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia hospitals are receiving patients from South Carolina due to Hurricane Florence.

South Carolina’s Governor ordered medical evacuations for all hospitals in Myrtle Beach.

Both Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon and Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin are receiving patients from Grand Strand Health. They are all HCA sister hospitals.

Coliseum Northside is expecting 18 patients from South Carolina. Fairview Park has received three patients so far.

She graduated from Abilene Christian University in Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Mass Communication and a minor in sociology. Shelby has a passion for empowering local communities, church ministry, public speaking, strengthening women and mentoring young people.
