Yet another day of heat in Middle Georgia did not yield a record, but I think most of us are ok with that.
So far this month we have been above average for our all of our high temperatures. That trend looks to continue through the rest of the month, despite the fact that the first day of fall is on Saturday.
High pressure in the area will continue to keep the southeast dry and keep temperatures hot as we head through the rest of the week, but expect the high pressure to slide east and bring a chance for a shower and some more humid air to the area by Friday.
Friday the heat continues, but shouldn’t be enough to keep anyone away from the football field for our Game of the Week, Warner Robins vs. Northside. So try and stay cool this week because models are hinting that a cool down could be on the way for October.
