MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 51-year-old Timothy Revis will spend 10 years in prison for offering a 14-year-old boy $100 for sex.
Revis pleaded guilty to child molestation during a hearing in Bibb County Superior Court Wednesday.
The teenager told Bibb County deputies that Revis approached him while he was walking near the Lucky Food Mart on Second Street back in July of 2017.
The teenager told deputies that Revis’ genitals were visible as he asked him sexual questions. The teenager recorded the encounter and was able to get the tag number for the car.
“Mr. Revis thought he could pay a child $100 for sex and go home. Instead, he’s paying a heavy price for the next decade,” says District Attorney David Cooke.
Revis was sentenced to a total of 20 years. He will have to abide by sex offender terms of probation for the rest of his life after prison.
