Armed Robbery Over the Weekend at Family Dollar in Macon

MACON,Ga – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Family Dollar on Napier Avenue in Macon. It happened just after 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Deputies say four men wearing dark clothes and masks entered the store, waving handguns and demanding money from the clerks. The men left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the robbery.

The robbery is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751 -7500, or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
