MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crimes Unit is looking to the public for help getting a woman they believe stole bank card information behind bars.
They say the suspect–whose identity is still unknown–went to both the Publix and Kroger on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd and used a person’s card information to purchase money orders in August.
Right now, investigators are unsure of the amount on the orders but say that the suspect also created a counterfeit card.
Investigators described the woman in question as a black female who was last seen driving a small dark-colored SUV.
Anyone with information in reference to this investigation is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or contact Investigator Thoy Bunleijdeagh at 478-803-2369.
