MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT) – A high pressure system continues to build up over the east coast, creating a dome of heat in the southeast.
This system will not only cause temperatures to trend upwards through the end of the week, but it will also limit rain chances.
An isolated shower can’t be ruled out of the forecast, but overall, the weather will be mostly dry in Middle Georgia the next few days.
Thursday is the first day of the Georgia National Fair in Perry!
The weather will be nice for fair activities with a mostly sunny sky turning partly cloudy in the afternoon.
Temperatures are forecast to hit the upper 80’s and low 90’s again tomorrow.
The dry weather continues through the weekend.
Rain chances will slowly increase early next week as temperatures do the opposite and drop to the upper 80’s.
