Sunday Voting Added To Early Voting Schedule

There will now be "Sunday Voting" during the upcoming early voting schedule in Macon-Bibb County.

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – There will now be “Sunday Voting” during the upcoming early voting schedule in Macon-Bibb County.

The Board of Elections approved the idea to allow voters more time to cast a ballot in the November election.

Commissioners approved $4,500 to pay for the extra voting day. The money pays for the cost of advertising, overtime and poll worker wages.

Voters will be able to cast a ballot on Sunday, October 28th from 9:00AM – 4:00PM.

Early voting is October 15th until November 2nd.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th.
