Fall finally makes it to Middle Georgia to end the week

Hopefully this is the last time we talk about Michael in a forecast discussion, but as of this evening it remains a tropical storm.

Michael still has winds in the center of 50 mph as well as heavy rain in parts of Virginia. The good news is that Michael will quickly be making an exit from the US overnight.
Behind the storms we have seen gusty winds in the area, but a cold front has moved through, and brought with it, fall weather (finally)!

Tomorrow will be an excellent day as fall weather moves into the area. Expect plenty of sunshine and dry air…so yes, that means the humidity is gone as well!

70’s hang around through the early parts of the weekend, but by next week we reintroduce some rain chances as well as more mid-80’s. Hey, at least it is not still in the 90’s. Should be a great last weekend for the Georgia National Fair!
