Good evening,
Summer made another appearance across the southeast the past few days with highs in the 80’s.

Our temps today are even warmer than yesterday by about 6 degrees, but just to our west a big drop in the temperatures has already started and looks to head our way. We however, have one more day of summer-like weather ahead with highs in the upper 80’s

The cold front that has already moved through the Midwest, will make it into Middle Georgia overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday, bringing cooler and dryer air with it. Expect a few showers on the way as well.

So if you are missing fall, don’t worry about it, it will be back. A few showers will be possible on Wednesday morning. By Thursday it will be much cooler throughout the day with plenty of sunshine expected behind the front.

We are also keeping an eye on a tropical wave just outside of Belize. This should pose no threat to the US, but is expected to bring potential flash flooding to areas of Central America this week.
