Twiggs Co. Deputies Investigating Domestic Shooting

The Twiggs County Sheriff's Office is investigating a domestic shooting that sent a woman to the hospital.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – The Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a domestic shooting that sent a woman to the hospital.

Col. James Faulks, with the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office, says a shooting call came in around 8:30 Wednesday morning at home on Deville Court.

Faulks says it appears a woman was shot by her boyfriend.

A suspect is in custody and being questioned by investigators at this time.

Faulks says the victim is undergoing surgery at a Macon hospital.
