Suspicious death investigation in East Bibb County

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious death of a female that occurred at the Raintree Apartments in east Bibb County.

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious death of a female that occurred at the Raintree Apartments in east Bibb County.

The management had not heard from 62 year old Mary Robinson, for several days. And they tried to make contact with her.

After finding that she was deceased, inside of the apartment, Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene. Crime scene investigators were also called to the scene.

Robinson’s body will be transported to the G.B.I. Crime Lab for an autopsy to be performed to determine the cause of death.

This incident is under investigation.

The Coroner’s Office is trying to locate the next of kin. It was reported the Ms. Robinson is possibly from Knoxville, Tennessee.
