The heaviest rain of the past few days has started across Middle Georgia this evening and won’t be letting up until tomorrow.
Two different areas of low pressure are interacting across the southeast, but the good news for Middle Georgia is that the rain is finally going to move out by tomorrow!
Rain chances will really be falling off as we head into the morning hours of Thursday, but we can’t rule out an isolated shower during the afternoon. Clouds will be sticking around through much of the day on Thursday, but a few areas could see some peeks of sunshine.
On the whole we are expecting an additional 1″ of rain from where we are at 10pm. The Flash Flood Watch is still in effect until 7am Thursday.
The 7 day forecast looks much better through the end of the week and into Thanksgiving week! Dust of the sunglasses as we move into the weekend, because high pressure will keep it sunny for a while!
