Five People Taken To Hospital After Crash In Macon

MACON, Ga – Five people were sent to the hospital after a crash involving an SUV, a van and a tractor trailer in Macon. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies said the crash happened just before 4 Thursday afternoon on Shurling Drive.

Deputies said all four people in the SUV, a white 1998 Ford Explorer, were taken to Medical Center Navicent Health. Three are in stable condition and one is critical condition. The driver of the van, a Black 1999 Toyota Sienna, was also taken to Medical Center Navicent Health and is in stable condition. The driver of the tractor trailer didn’t need medical attention. Deputies said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
