Man wanted for questioning in weekend homicide

UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating 41-year-old Thelonius McAuthor Sumpter, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the homicide investigation of 35-year-old Ryan Glover.

Glover was found dead near Central City Park on Saturday.

Sumpter is described as a black male between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 11, weighs approximately 215 to 245 pounds, and has brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sumpter, is asked to call the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751 -7500, or the Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.

MACON, Ga – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after deputies said they found a man who was dead near Central City Park in Macon.

Deputies said the man, 35 year old Ryan Glover, was found in what they believe is a campsite in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Deputies said Glover was stabbed in the back.

The homicide is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751 -7500, or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
