Couple arrested, charged after murder near Central City Park

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people are in custody after a murder near Central City Park last month.

41-year-old Thelonius Sumpter was arrested Thursday around 1 p.m. at a home on Napier Avenue after being interviewed during the homicide investigation of Ryan Glover, who was stabbed to death November 24.

Sumpter was taken into custody on two warrants unrelated to the case.

Sumpter’s girlfriend, 41-year-old Shirderia Dorsey, was also arrested after being interviewed. She is charged with murder, party to a crime.

Sumpter is charged with murder.

Both are in the Bibb County Jail without bond.
