MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Tattnall Square Academy students give back to the community for children in need through their 32nd annual Christmas program.
The program includes various performances that feature Tattnall students from all grade levels. Students performed Musical and choral pieces.
Tattnall Square Academy Teacher Shirley Kitchings, who’s in the program as Miss. Clause gives insight on the various performances.
“You’re going to see the kindergarten student’s sing, you’re going to see our elves perform. You’re going to see our elementary perform. And we’re also going to have a visit by the Grinch who will be trying to steal our Christmas toys. However, we’re not going to let him have them. We’re going to bring more and more gifts,” says Kitchings.
Many students like Walker Bryant say not only is it one of the best ways to give back during the holiday, but it can also be fun.
“We have a singer name Brianna Robinson and she sounds awesome, and the toy parade is amazing,” says Walker.
“The Christmas program is held here every year but I have 25 donation pickups in Macon today and I have about 6 other high schools and Elementary schools to go to later today,” says Joe Allen, Founder of Kids Yule Love.
Tattnall Square Academy is one of the largest donors of gifts in the middle Georgia area to Kids Yule Love.
