UPDATE: Man charged in shooting at Terminal Station

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – A man faces charges connected to the Monday morning shooting at the Terminal Station in downtown Macon.

According to a news release, 22-year-old Jalen Brown turned himself in following the incident. He is charged with theft by receiving, for being in possession of a stolen gun and Aggravated Assault.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 200 Cherry Street, Terminal Station around 7:30 a.m. Deputies say that’s where they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds outside of the station.

Bibb County deputies say Brown got into an argument with 32-year-old Harold Walters, and Brown shot Walters. Walters was transported to the Medical Center, Navicent Health where he is being treated for his injuries. He is listed to be in stable condition.

During this incident, a vehicle passing the Terminal Station was hit by the gunfire. No one in the vehicle was hurt.
