More than 60 Veterans and their families gathered at The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in the Main Auditorium in Dublin to honor Vietnam War veterans for their service.

“Well it’s an honor for me to be here celebrating this day for the fellow veterans who could not join us or make it back home after the war,” John Payne said.

The Nationwide Commemoration honors all United States veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces from November 1 in 1955 to May 15 in 1975.
